| The room was perhaps a little small, but was actually very > comfortable. The staff were very helpful in every way. |

| Very friendly, polite and attentive staff. Small room but reasonably equipped and clean. Nice bathroom. Quiet corner away from noisy Cromwell Road. Good, covenient access to Tube (Piccadily Line). Very nice continental breakfast - rolls were excellent. Have paid more for much worse. Great location for museums, almost next door. Best feature? Staff, cleanliness and breakfast. Worst feature? Cluttered entrance foyer.I would stay here again if the rate was right. |

| Despite all the comments below I enjoyed my stay at this hotel but that might be because I wasn't paying! We had a room on the 5th floor - excellent for peering into the apartments opposite :-) The room was a good size, clean and well appointed. Room service was expensive but of a reasonable standard. Staff were all European but tried their best to be of assistance. Bar area was very smokey and with a young baby with us it wasn't the place to relax by day. I would go back to this hotel despite the parking ticket that we got but I guess that's not the hotels fault |

| There has been no training whatsoever for the staff. Nice location and historical building totally wasted by bad service. My wife & I enjoyed the live entertainment from next door couple having loud (real LOUD!) sex 4-5 times till morning. They didn't charge us for listening only ;)! | |

| For the money, not a good deal. Great location, but down-at-heels, worn carpets, and always piles of laundry in the hallways. Bar stunk so strongly of smoke no way we could sit in it. Radiator in top-floor room very noisy, inefficient. Breakfast buffet okay, though steam tables left things cold. Staff harried, mostly young Europeans new to hotel work, doing their best but not well managed. | |

| Room - ok, bit small. Bathroom - loose tiles, no towel rail, also pretty small. Breakfast - no sausages, how can you call that a full english? Staff - helpful and friendly. |

| Lovely hotel with good location. The room was quite small but well laid out and cosy aswell as being well maintained. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Full English breakfast was decent size and well cooked. Overall a very pleaseant stay at a very pleasant hotel. Has a sort of old-world feel to it, character and charm in abundance. Definite reccomendation. |
